Our History
With nearly 40 years in business, P2E has a proven track record for innovation, strong relationships and dependable last-mile delivery. This history is embedded in every aspect of our organization — right down to our name, which reflects the two industry leaders that brought together extensive knowledge and resources to form P2E.
1984: Pyramid Tubular Products is founded, setting a new benchmark for customer service and quality
1987: Premier Pipe opens for business, quickly becoming a leader in OCTG through alliances with key mills and operators
2003: Tubular Solutions Alaska (TSA) starts operations, providing OCTG and line pipe to the Alaska market
2021: Pyramid Tubular Products, Premier Pipe and TSA join forces to establish P2 Energy Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sumitomo Corporation of the Americas (SCOA)
2022: P2E reaches 1M tons sold annually, successfully navigating unprecedented price fluctuations and market challenges
